CFC Recovery (833-300-4673) announces that it has further improved its long-term recovery program for the active sober community in Toms River, NJ.

—
The updated relapse prevention program addresses the rising demand for addiction support groups after formal clinical treatment. According to the American Addiction Centers, there is a 40% to 60% relapse rate for substance use disorders. Experts believe that this may be caused by a lack of peer-based support and programs for individuals struggling with addiction, especially after they’ve completed rehab.

Addressing this, CFC Recovery has updated its relapse prevention program to include several new modules to help former addicts live healthier, sober lives. The 18-month program consists of 5 stages that guide a person to recognize their addiction triggers, find better coping methods, and develop a healthier lifestyle. Throughout the program, individuals are connected to like-minded individuals who sincerely want to help everyone succeed in their respective journeys.
Members of the program are invited to a monthly mixer and camping and snowboarding retreat twice a year. They will also be included in the regular community outreach and volunteering programs hosted by CFC Recovery. The goal is for each person to feel a part of a loving and caring community to reduce the risk of a substance abuse relapse.
Members are also assigned to a CFC Recovery Coach who will keep them accountable during their post-rehab journey. Meeting twice a week, members speak with their coach about their short and long-term goals and their progress in the program.
The CFC relapse prevention program has an 85% success rate in guiding former addicts to achieve long-term recovery. It was awarded the Building Recovery Community Organization’s grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) for its proven holistic approach.
CFC is not a treatment center and only offers a progressive self-help program run by recovery specialists.
A spokesperson for the group wrote, "CFC Relapse Prevention Program fills the gap after clinical treatment. We provide an all-encompassing accountability program that helps keep you on track, fills your life with positive, passion-inducing activities, and introduces you to a strong sober community."
